| Hey Everybody!
I am sorry I haven't written here lately. I have been CRAZY busy at work recently. What with coworkers quitting and half the staff on vacation and me being stressed and learning 10 different jobs. It's been a little hectic. Anyway, I'm not here to complain.
I just had my one year anniversary with my dear husband (thanks, by the way, Josh for the message!) It has been a wonderful year. Stressful and full of empty pockets, but still wonderful. I love Robert so much and am so glad to be married to him. He is my best friend and we have a heck of a lot of fun together. For our anniversary we went to Chicago for the Taste of Chicago. It was FANTASTIC. Robert got to try new things, and I got to have a lot of.... cheesecake!! It was a great day.. though, I got a pretty rough sunburn.. in the shape of a bib, actually. heh.
here are some pictures of our day.. I didn't get too many, as I kept forgetting to get my camera out.
This is Robert at the Taste of Chicago.. soooo cute.
This is some wonderful popcorn from Garret's Popcorn. Cheese and Caramel.. Mmmm

It was reeeeaaaaaallllly good popcorn. I just couldn't get enough.

This is the sunburn I came home with that I still have... it's still a bit sore... gipes!

Well, that's it for now, sorry it's not more, but maybe I will do more soon.. okay have a great 4th of July!!!
over and out!

| so, I realize that I have not posted since before the new job...
I think it's time for an update.
I LOVE my job. It is fantastic. I get to assist the doctor in the GI lab. which is like the colonoscopies and the Gastroscopes. Sooo much fun. Everyone is so willing to teach me stuff. They let me stand in the room during surgeries and I get to see sooo much cool stuff.
I help the doc, then I clean the room and scopes. And I also clean and sterilize all the other instruments used during other surgeries. and help do the ordering for the Surgery Dept. And they are going to train me to be a second scrub. Which means I get to hand the doc stuff and help out during many many other surgeries. Very cool. VERY COOL.
yeah, I just wanted to say that I love it sooo much. And I am very happy!
okay, that's it for now..

| Yeah! I got a new job! Same hospital, new job!
I am now working in the surgery department. Doing a lot of cool stuff. Cleaning equipment (some worth $30,000, gipes!) and tools. Stocking and ordering and organizing supplies, and even helping out on a few procedures, and learning the secretary job for calling insurance and getting all necessary xrays and what not.
I am very excited, it's going to be challenging and I haven't had a challenging job since I don't know when. I am really excited for the avenue I am going down. I will learn so many things and will keep learning for years. They have more and more opportunities with this department. A lot more than Dietary. I am VERY excited. A little nervous.. but VERY excited.
